Question about NEC MultiSync 1760NX 17" LCD Monitor
Resolutin notifier message pops up every time i fire up my computer i find it very annoying. my pc : compaq presario SR1303WM my monitor Mitsubishi V71LCD I keep getting a resolution notifier when I start up my computer and when I change programmes. It is very annoying can anyone help

This is similar to the "out of range" message that many flat monitors give when the resolution is maybe higher than the monitor would like.
It has given you the suggestion for a good reason. As with most monitors flat or crt it is possible to shorten the life of them if you abuse them in this way.
My suggestion is to lower your resolution to the one it offer you.

It probably is warning you that your video graphics adapator is puting out a non-native resolution to the monitor.
LCD monitors are designed for a specific resolution. If you don't use that resolution, the LCD has to try to mimick the resolution you've asked for.
Check your display settings and also consider updating your graphic driver if a new version is available.
