Question about HP Pavilion ze5170 Notebook
I need to know what might be holding the bottom from being seperated from the upper part of the lap top. I have removed all screws and uncliped all contact points. There seems to be a clip of some sort that is still holding it together in the center.
you can e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Thankyou for your time
Where your speakers are press the "F" keys there should be little clips holding them in place i think it's f3 f8 f10 f13 and delete keys pop out the speakers carefully then unscrew the fasteners that hold your keyboard in place. remove keyboard you will then have access to the remaining fasteners.

Is the keyboard loose? If not, there maybe a screw hiding under an access panel that keeps the keyboard in that may also hold the top and bottom of the case together.
If not, try lifting as much as you can and see if you can see what is holding it together at the point that is holding together.
Hope this helps!
