Question about JVC AV-27230 27" TV
JVC D- Series, AV-27D302 TV, i plug it in, turn it on, no image, "on timer" light comes on. I tryed unplugging it, all the buttons on the remote, nothign seems to work. same problem with JVC super multi 21,, Help
In a large number of failures with these symptoms it's usually the HOT (horiz. output trans. Q522, which is a 2sd2499) and the regulator (Str30134), together with fuse F902 (Gma 1.25a). Not an expensive repair or that complicated if you're fairly good with electronics and know how to solder correctly. Otherwise take it in and have it repaired professionally - it's worth it...

The On/Off timer lets you program your television to turn itself on or off. You can use it as an alarm
to wake up, to help you remember important programs, or as a decoy when you're not home.
Press the MENU button
Press UP or DOWN button on the remote control hanset to ON/OFF TIMER
Make it OFF.
Switch off the TV by its front panel power button, and switch it ON again after 10 seconds.
