Belkin wireless travel mouse not connecting to Mac

Followed instructions to connect my Belkin Wireless Travel mouse (F5L017) to my Macbook and it isnt connecting. The light blinks slowly and then goes solid red, not speeding up. Does the mouse work with a mac?

If you have a usb extension cable try plugging it in so you can place it on a firm surface when you press the sync buttons. Have heard of some issues with activating both mouse and fob buttons at once because of difficulty in reaching the fobs sync button.

If you have a touch pad (which almost all laptops do, including MAC's), try disabling before you plug in the wireless mouse. You should be able to select the option to have it automatically disabling the touchpad everytime you plug in the wireless usb mouse.

I have lost my usb wireless adapter for my Belkin F5l017usbblk

The best route to take is to obtain another adapter for the mouse since it was wireless. However, if the mouse and your computer have Bluetooth capabilities then you can connect by Bluetooth.

I purchased the belkin wireless mouse, F5L017, it showed me suceffull instalation but no response from the device. Any idea?

If by successful installation you mean that you plugged in the USB dongle and it installed then I would suggest putting in the disc that came with your mouse and going through that installation process to make sure mouse is properly and full installed.

If that doesn't work then I would try to restart the whole computer with the USB dongle attached which will let the computer finish installing the USB driver that was installed when it was first plugged in

How to connect wireless mouse light on mouse flashes fast but holding both connect buttons isnt working

You need to have a Wireless USB adapter that came with the mouse. Plug it in to any one of the USB ports then it should work.

Need directions to install

There may be a very small button, recessed on the bottom of the mouse, and one on the transceiver, which need to be pushed with the tip of a ballpoint pen. They cause the two devices to sync to each other and that makes the wireless mouse work right.
Also, be sure you have plugged the transceiver into the right socket on the back of the PC. Some require it be plugged into the keyboard socket, others into the mouse socket, and then of course, there are the ones that use a USB port. My Microsoft wireless mouse uses USB, and works like a charm.
Good luck.
