My Compaq Presario 2100 laptop won't boo...

My presario 2100 was unplugged while running. Now it will not start in any mode. It goes to a screen with start up selections, but none of them work. some will bring up the windows logo but after a few minutes the laptop shuts off and restarts the start up selections again.

Try removing the battery, then put it back. Plug the charger and charge it first, then start over.

- The battery is underneath. You have to release the latch and pull it out
