Re: DVD help

Well, it has to have atleast a crease in it for sliding, but sticking back there either a disk is up or it was jammed back, I would get a thing blade sicors or screw driver to pry it open, or call somebody to do this, and if you can't seem to do this you have'ft to replace it :(

I need a service manual so i can fix the cd door to open and close

Sometimes there's a small pinhole in the door of a CD tray. If you have one, straighten a paperclip and insert it into that hole. Press straight in, and the door will be forced open. This will help if the CD/DVD was inserted wrong and is causing a bind.
Otherwise, you need to state the brand and model number of the player so someone might be able to find what you need to service it.

DVD stuck in my Yamaha DVD-c6761 DVD/CD player. How do I get it out so my player will open and work properly again.

Unbend a paper clip.Look very closely at the area around the CD/DVD drive door until you find a really small hole - it almost looks like an accident (probably just below the door). Insert the paper clip in the hole (don't be afraid). Push the paper clip gently to press the spring-loaded latch.Your CD/DVD tray should open right up. That's it. Deals Prices

My recorder will not finalize it says "Incomplete"

could be bad dvds. if you have a tv top dvd recorder they are bad about going bad, because theres not enough vent holes, recorder gets to hot, burns up. i put more vent holes in top of my case. your best bet is to get dvd rw's they work better. then take your pc and copy your shows on a regular dvd . then reuse the rw's for your next job.

Door will not open

this product seems to be an audio CD player in use with a stereo system.
Have you tried inserting a paperclip (that has been straightened out) through the tiny hole available to manually coax the tray to come out. It will pop out just a little, but it will then be unlocked and be easy to bring out, displaying the entire CD.
If you have tried that, then.....
Take the cover off (the entire case) and inspect the area where the CD is. Many of these players have no metal encasement around the CD mechanism and one can see the inner workings. The CD may have gotten askew, or the mechanism jammed. Gently try to free things up.You should at least retrieve your CD.

Put the thing back together. Use a junk cd (keep the stereo amp off) and try to load and unload it. If that fails.... Time to get a new one.

Here's a suggestion for that. Most all DVD players handle cd's. Purchasing an inexpensive DVD player might be cheaper than finding a stereo component CD player. Just use the audio out.

Good luck

How much do you charge?

IF you are trying to remove a CD from a player that doesn't open naturally, there is usually a small hole into which a straightened paper clip can be inserted to manually open the "drawer". Don't get carried away with the paper clip, and just a little, single poke should do it into the small hole about the size of the diameter of the wire - not somewhere else.

I am attempting to hook up the dvd player to the tv and it doesn't work

Have you read the manuals for both? It's probably explained except I'll bet the unnamed TV manual didn't anticipate someone wanting to use the TV as a speaker system for an audio-only device. The TV has at least an analog audio input. Treat the CDR as a DVD for the hook-up. There's probably an illustration.

Cd droor will not open

WITH THE POWER OFF, look on the CD door, you'll see a very small hole, unbend a paper clip, insert it straight into the hole, push until the door starts to slide open. This is assuming this is a computer.. If it's a CD player (stero-type), it MAY have this same hole. Again, power has to be off. TJ

Denon CD door jammed

If you are comfortable taking the cover off, you can try removing the cover and then try to help the tray out the same time you are hitting OPEN/Close.
IF you are not comfortable removing the cover then, you can try to take a credit card (Actually, if you have any of those JUNK credit cards that the CC companies send out as trial offers, those work the best, and who cares if you bend those, they get tossed anyway) and bend an edge at a 90 degree.. (about 1/8" of the edge) so it makes like a small ledge. try to fit it inbetween the top of the door, and then see if you can open it up. Some players have a seperate door, and some trays are attached to the door. You might be able to help it out or unjam the tray this way.
And in the Future, with any other CD/DVD Players, use your remote control or the open and close button to open and close the tray, and NEVER Push on the tray itself. If I had a dollar for every dvd player tray that Ive fixed because of this, I would be buying bill gates dinner. (not really, but you get my point)
Good luck.
