Make sure u dont have the SAP option on, because it will not have audio on channels that dont support SAP programs...(SAP is the option that translates English programs to Spanish)
Hi, new one on me but heres one thing you should do with that comcast box, un-plug the AC cord on the comcast box for about 1 minute, plug it back in and be patient while it re-boots, can take as long as 4-5 minutes, this re-sets all the logic states in the box, hope this helps.
I just posted saying that I had the same problem. I found the manual for my particular television online. It said to press the [MTS] button on the remote control and switch between SAP, Stereo, and Mono sound selections. It worked. My television was on SAP for some reason causing sound not to come through on all the channels. Hope this helps!

we bought an LG 42in 1080i HDTV 6 weeks ago and the sound has been going out. when it happens it's across all channels - hi-def (700s) or regular comcast cable channels. We have to shut the TV off entirely and wait for a minute and then it comes back on. This happens mid-program - not just when a commercial comes on, etc. Any thoughts?
I have had the same problem for the past couple of days. During local commercials I have not sound but a picture. However, when the show comes back on I have sound again. As well, sometimes I have sound that doesn't fit with the television show that I'm watching. I can't figure out what's wrong.
I am having the same problem, however, my sound doesn't come back.
