Hi..i have a panasonic quintrix TV. its not very old, i bought it new about 3 years ago. suddenly today i went to go turn it on and when i press the power button on the TV the red power light turns on but it flashes and makes a beeping sound.....and the screen does absolutely nothing, it has no picture and doesnt even light up. and there is also no sound (except for the beeping from the power button). is there any way to fix it easily??? thanks for all ur help :-)

I did have a technician look at this and he determined the problem was with some electronic board that would cost approx $225 before installation cost. But when he was here trying to diagnose the problem he could check some built in Sony error messages using a series of clicks on the remote control. I realized I could still use the TV albeit with the annoying letters and numbers across the screen but it beats throwing the Tv out at this time. The buttons to use on the remote are display, number 5, channel up button, and then power button. But if you do this make sure you don't do anything else because then you will be changing some basic color or other schemes. You have to use the actual number buttons to change channels.
I have a suggestion you need to check the regulator if you have a mutitester it would be this is a job for a technician .

I have a Sony KV-27FS320 and just a few days ago the same problem has developed. If I keep pressing the power button some times it will go on.
