Dell 2000FP monitor, bought used. Worked great and displayed good image for about 5 minutes, and then went "dead". All front panel lights come on steady green, no onscreen display or other display shows up. Only the power led and maybe one other LED should be on, but all LED's light up like a Xmas tree?Dell 2000FP monitor, bought used. If all your lights are on on the front on the 2000FP then the logic board is bad and the eeprom at49bv8192at will need to be replaced and reprogrammed. Check out www.lcdrepair.us for Instruction videos on the 2000fp as well as parts http://www.lcdrepair.us/Installation.html
Shouldn't the monitor powerup anyways? I always goes to the power screen thingy and tells you to check cables.
To others looking for solutions- google the monitor and find a forum in dell that was a feed started. lets work together and save our monitors!!!
I see. Check the back of the monitor for disconnected wires. If their aren't any and they are all properly in place. Check the back of your computer to make sure the Monitor is plugged into it correctly also. Most computers have an alternate plug-in space for a monitor. Hope this helped! Have a great day.

NO PC stated(wow 1)
are you web connected, if now why expect PnP to work>?
you do not need any drivers for any monitor.
the config files for it only limit max resolution
why not lower the resolution your self in windows
to 1600 x 1200 at 60 Hz !!!
then it works , every time that is if the CCFL lamps are not dead, as all are now. those lamps do not last 15 years, if used for 15 years.
not possible.
buy a 2010 or newer LED monitor and dump this ping in the bin.
drivers are only for GPU chips only (screen answers)
the monitor runs a config file only, you can even read it and edit it of you wanted
this monitor was first made in 2001, yah 17 years ago
and microsoft does not support monitors that old. now.
the unstated PC , needs to be core2 and intel gen 5 and newer
or you can not upgrade to w10 .
64bit rules are not the same w7 and 10,
w7 is more lax but do consider the facts on 10.
why post lacking what PC this is.?
my guess its a relic of no value, at all.
some old XP box from 2001?
Dell monitor E177FPc - light comes on green but immediately turns steady amber and screen is black?

you can also check this boards whether suit you: 1742SED2H 715G1492 2 FR Dell ADTV1742SED2H Power Supply Backlight Inverter...
The monitor is going bad. Either going to be a bad screen or a bad inverter. Also Since you tried it on another computer and its still giving you the same symptoms, you know the computers are fine. To be sure, try another monitor on your computer and if you get video on the new monitor then thats another way of verifying that the dell monitor is bad.
