This is a onboard diagnostic system. As soon as the knob starts going in circles start counting the red light blinks. Then call Splendide. Let them know what is happening. When they ask tell them the number of light blinks that occurred and they can tell you what the error code is.

Measure the knob hole or take it with you to the hardware store they have replacements. If not the same there are knobs for sink handles with a set screw. Install the knob and mark where the indicator should be with nail polish or indelible marker.
