If the fridge still working check the fan for the freezer

Find where the supply air is coming into the fridge part. It comes from the freezer and could easily be supplying -18 air direct to the door. This would give you a 2 in the fridge but anything in the direct air path could freeze.

HI,CHECK FOR CONTINUITY ON THE DEFROST ELEMENT AND B-METAL IF THOSE COMPONENTS PASS THE TEST MAYBE THE TIMER OR DEFROST CONTROL COULD BE BAD IN YOUR REFRIGERATOR..GOOD LUCK..

I had the same problem. The frezzer worked but the fridge was not getting cold. What I have learned is that the frezzer make the fridge cold, so if the frezzer is working then something is blocking the cold air to get into the fridge. Most likely ice. The air come in at the bottom of the inside of the fridge next to the frezzer. Pull everything out of the frezzer, then unscrew the plannel that runs along the back and you see if there is ice. If so turn frezzer off and dry out the frezzer. I used hot water.

Usually the other way around.hot fluid is fed in from the bottom,so air bubbles will be forced out.

There is a restriction in the condensate drain. You should be able to press a piece of tubing against the drain opening (inside fridge) and BLOW (NOT ****) through the other end. this should clear the obstruction. The obstruction would be slimy goop, sooo again -
NO ****!

You should check and/or replace the defrost timer in your unit, it is located in the rear of the unit toward the bottom. When the unit is hot inside check to see if this timer is activated. You will know if you turn the timer and the unit comes on. Hope this helps.

check to see if your fan in frezzer is working if not u need fan if it. is see if there is frost on back wall of frezzer if there is u have a defrost problem .u can unplug and let thaw with draw open for 4 or 5 hrs will work fine till u get service ther if it is defrost

Likely caused by opening the unit too many times. Defrost completely, do not block air circulation.

if you are just testing fan alone, then disconnect electric plug and attach 2 wires...one to battery + and one to batt -
