Hooked up arris modem with lynksys G series router

Hooked up lynksys router to computer and modem I have no internet service when hooked up. How do I hook up the router to establish an internet connection?

You have to set seting from routers menu. To use it hold 15 second router restart button, that restore factory setings, then go browser http://192.168.1.1/ , and use username "admin" and password "admin" in default. There you can set setting by your connection.
