I just bought a kodak camera, and im charging it and it seems to work but im trying to turn on my camera and will open the shutter and then close again. i dont know if its broken or just needs to be fully charged?
This problem is frequently due to either weak/defective batteries or corroded battery terminals inside the
camera. Make sure that you have fresh/fully charged batteries in the camera. If the problem persists, remove the batteries and wipe the terminals with a soft cloth
(heavy corrosion may require a fine wire brush, steel wool, or
sandpaper). Remove any residue left in the camera by the cleaning.
Clean the terminals on the batteries in the same manner, and then
replace them in the camera. This cures most problems, but if it
doesn't work for you, check the Kodak troubleshooting guide at:

I think you have a CX1063 and not an MX since there is no such KODAK model. Please try these solutions: 1. Make sure you will install a new or fully charged battery/batteries into your camera. Please use lithium batteries Ni-Mh or rechargeable Batteries (2000 M.Amp or higher). 2. Clean the battery contacts. a. Remove the battery/batteries and the memory card from your camera, then wipe the battery contacts with a soft, clean cloth. b. Reinstall the battery/batteries into your camera 3. Turn on your camera without the memory card. (If it works then it?s your memory card that is faulty)

Im sorry about that, well anyway it seems that the lens of your camera is already defective,
are you using the recommended battery Lithium-Ion battery (KLIC-7004)? If yes try to charged the battery and if this issue not solve Please call kodak Toll Free 1 800 235 6325 canada and U.S support only
could give you some ideas to look at with you camera . It seems if thing are not lined up just right with the lens. I could see things stalling on these digital cameras.
That must have been caused by a drop and I'm pretty sure your screen is gone. Try to send it back to Kodak they may not charge you if it's not obviously physical damage, if they refuse to give you warranty service there are third party camera repair places but they will definitely charge you.
Sounds like a new battery would do wonders. I would contact Kodak and see if hey will offer you a new battery. If not then I would go buy one. The battery is probably the most likely to go bad so fast on a camera.
hi
try turning the camera on while its trying to move the shutter
HELP it! just push the shutter to its place...
idont push it to hard or you will make it worse
