Hi, to be able to send picture messages from your phone your MMS (Multimedia Message) must be activated first. Depending on your Service provider example. for MTC users just send a text message saying 'MMS' to 1251 and you will receive your setting automatically just save the settings and when they request a password enter '1234' or '0'. For other Service providers please contact your call centre and ask for your MMS to be activated and follow the simple instructions given by your service provider.
MMS and GPRS settings was made by your service provider. Basically they will send you a setting or configuration for your MMS or GPRS settings via text message. You can call and ask them to send you a configuration message and all you have to do is save the settings.
Hi this is a very common problem and usually happens if you have changed you phone to another network.
all you need to do is call your service provider and tell them what make and model of phone you have got then ask them to send you the latest mms and wap settings, they wont charge for sending these to you and they will send them via text message. this will then update your phone to the latest media message settings and internet settings, once this is done you will be able to send and receive what ever you like.
you can sometimes send the settings to your phone yourself from your service providers web site but not all service providers offer this service so you would need to check, the easiest way would be to give them a call and ask them to send you the latest settings.
let me know if you need further assistance ok
plz rate this solution as i have a whole page of unrated posts, thanks
Hi all you need to do is contact your service provider and ask them to send you all the mms and internet settings, they will send you these via a text message you then save these settings and then your phone will be set up correctly.
your service provider dont charge for this service so give them a call and tell them you need to set your phone up to the correct settings.
let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok
Just go to phone settings in settings and reset to factory settings default. this will reset the phone to factory settings but will not clear any messages, contacts, pictures or data.. then you can go ahead and set a new password.
Hi Kim, Contact your provider and ask them to send you there WAP and MMS settings, usually when you recieve theese you switch off your phone, power it back up and YOU need to send a picture to activate the MMS settings with your provider. Good Luck!
