Question about GE Nautilus 24" Built-in Dishwasher
- Power is okay. I reset the breakers anyway.
- It takes in some water (20 seconds), and then shuts off.
- does not drain any water through the dishwasher disposal connection
It may be the motor start capacitor or the motor or the wiring to it. Some units have a built-in switch that shuts the unit off if the motor doesn't start turning after a short interval. However, if it drains it usually means the motor runs enough to pump it out. These units usually stop draining when the fill switch opens at the lower level.
