Question about Samsung WriteMaster SH-W162C DVD?RW Dual Layer Burner
I buyed new DVD writter . it is SATA writter and my hard disk is id and my mother board have SATA . but when i conect it my computer is not booting.when disconect it it will boot .i tried in my bios but it didn't work.i give to the customer care of my DVD writter and they tell me that its not the writters problem. i tried by changing the SATA cable but it didn't work.plssssssssss help me
If the device is set up as a master and not a slave device it may be interfering with the hard drive. check the jumpers on the back of the device. If it's plugged into the same cable as the hard drive it must be a slave device. Otherwise, check your bios upon bootup to see if you it's trying to boot from the device instead of from the hard drive.
