Question about ViewSonic VA721 17" LCD Monitor
My monitor goes blank for about 2 seconds every two minutes or so. I have checked the coneections, updated the drivers and no luck.
Connect the monitor to a different computer system (if available) to see if the issue is with the video card or the monitor.
Make sure A/C power cord is securely connected to the LCD display.
Make sure the video cable supplied with the LCD display is tightly secured to the video
output port on the back of the computer. If the other end of the video cable is not attached
permanently to the LCD display, tightly secure it to the LCD display.
Your backlight may be going bad, or the small controller board may be going bad also.
