Have you tried the "800" number on the Flushmate label? Loss of air pressure may mean there's a leak in the cartridge, air inducer valve, or possibly even the tank itself.

The handle-shaking thing typically means the handle and rod are binding up and holding the cartridge down after the flush or that you need to increase the clearance between the rod and cartridge cap.

Flushmate tech support should be able to help you identify the cause of the air loss and advise you on the cartridge cap adjustment.

Good luck.

Toilet was working perfect this morning until I flushed it and then the water would not stop. I turned the water off completely

The Shut-off mechanism inside the toilet tank is staying open. Turn the water back on, Remove the tank lid and flush to see exactly what is going on. You should notice that the rubber piece of the mechanism does not go back down to cover the flush hole. That should be your problem. Spray some lubricant (WD-40) on the moving hinge at the top of it or replace the entire assembly.

I have an older model, circa mid 90's. It began to fail to flush with the first try. In trouble shooting, I removed the air valve and now when I replace it the water just pours out everywhere! It is not...

Your best course of action is to replace the entire Flushmate. You may be able to reassemble the air inducer valve but with a tank that old, it's probably slowly losing air through pinholes in the body of the tank.

Today's Flushmate has a ten year warranty on parts and a lifetime warranty on the body of the pressure tank. Depending on which model you need and where you buy it, you can expect to pay between $107 and $130.

You may want to check out the eFlushmate Store or the "where to buy" page at Flushmate.com.

Good luck!

The toilet will not flush, the tank will not fill and water continuously runs in the bowl

Is it a new installation or was it working before and now there's a problem?

It could be rod-clearance, it could be your water pressure or an obstruction in the inlet-filter, or maybe a couple of other things. Different fixtures have different minimum pressure requirements. Some work at 25 PSI static pressure at the connection but others require a 35 PSI minimum. This should be specified in the OEM's manual that you should have received with the toilet.

I have a Sloan Flushmate mod M-101526-F3. It seems to be laking the pressure to flush away the waste completely. Is there an adjustment that I can make?

Hi,
The only adjustment you can make is to crank your water pressure up...
But that probably will not solve your problem...
The best thing to do is to call the 800 number on the top of the tank and get technical assistance from them directly... they also will send you free parts if you need parts...

Just hooked up new pressure asist tank & bowl, turned on water to it,and it want flush.what i mean about want flush, is it will flush but water does'nt go down,as if it's not staying open long enough.

Sounds like you have a clogged drainline or vent-stack. Fill a large bucket with about three gallons of water and dump it quickly into the bowl. If the drainline/vent is clear, the toilet will "flush" like a gravity toilet and the water will drain from the bowl almost as fast as you can pour it in.

If the water level in the bowl slowly rises (as if it's about to overflow) and then slowly drains, you have a clog somewhere.

All toilets, regardless of their flushing mechanism, require a clear, unoibstructed drain/waste/vent system to extract waste.

If the toilet "flushes" with the bucket of water, you may want to call Flushmate tech support (the number is on top of the tank) or check out the installation and troubleshooting videos at howto.flushmate.com.

Hope this helps.

Sloan Flushmate M-101526-F3-Constant Filling

There is a lifetime warranty on the tank and a ten year warranty on parts. Call flushmate and ask. they will not tell you otherwise.

If you use any chemicals in the tank it will void the warranty.

This type of flush system can be re presurised quickly by holding down the flush handle for about good 2 minutes, then release , wait for the tank to be refilled with water.
Now you can flush away your inner rotting mess down tube good-by...
