I have a HP flat panel 25" monitor with a annoying red thin vertical line running down it, any solutions?
I will give you a small step through which you would be able to know whether its a hardware or its a software issue.
You need to log in to the BIOS. Do not change anything in the BOIS just check whether you have that red line in the BIOS.
If you see the line while you are in the BIOS, that means its a hardware problem and you need to contact the manufacturer (In this case HP ). You should get a replacement if its under warranty.
If you do not see the red line in the BIOS than it is a software issue and you need to start with reinstalling the Display drivers.
Note : - Steps to go to BIOS. ( Dont change anything in BIOS )
Turn off the computer
As soon as you turn it on start tapping the key "F2". ( "Del" in some brands).
