If your Internet Explorer keeps randomly crashing (closing by itself), there may be an add-on or temporary page disrupting the connection. Every time you browse the web, Internet Explorer keeps track of the websites you visit. It keeps these pages, along with cookie trackers, in the "Temporary Browsing History" folder. Some websites cause Internet Explorer to crash.

Open the Internet Explorer browser. Go to "Tools > Delete Browsing History." Hit "Delete All." Check off the box that says "Also delete files and settings stored by add-ons." Hit "OK." Close and reopen the browser. b> Disable Add-Ons b> Go to "Start > Search." Type "Internet Explorer" and hit "Enter." The computer will search for any files with this label. Double-click on the file that says "Internet Explorer (No Add-Ons)." This will allow you to browse in IE without any additional plug-ins or add-ons that might be causing the browser to crash. b> Reset Internet Explorer b> Open the IE browser. Go to "Tools > Internet Options." Hit "Advanced." Click on "Reset" and then hit "Enter." Close and reopen the browser. You might have to many programs trying to or accessing your computer or the internet at the same time or a virus Scroll to bottom toolbar (bottom of screen) right click select task manager applications and processes to see you what's running and ticking over if you see anything you don't need running select end now and you might uninstall that specific program if you or computer does not require it to run and some unnecessary programs that could be jamming up your computer also under processes see what is ticking over in the background again if you see something you don't need to be running select end now and users you will see who is using your computer windows xp microsoft security essentials anti malware free edition Win XP/2003/Vista/Windows7

Internet keeps crashing

First, you will need to make sure your internet provider is not the problem, use a second computer on the same connection to be sure. If you are on wireless open the window on the wireless icon, click on repair and windows will fix the connection in most cases. If on ethernet direct connection to the modem sub another cable to make sure the link is solid.

Try to restore this to an earlier time using system restore, it should keep all of your files, but if you installed something recently it will not be there and many times this is the simplest solution.

Hello I have an acer aspire 5535 and it keeps

The complete solution to this fault (Acer 5535 keeps crashing under vista) is to use Windows XP instead of Vista. Set up a Dual Boot so you can CHOOSE to load XP or Vista each time you turn on the laptop. I've put XP on my 5535 and it's SO much faster and seems perfectly stable now - no crashing at all.

A full video showing how to do this is here:

Once you've done this you won't have any problems with the laptop anymore.
This is a perfect solution to the crashing problem!

Internet explorer 6

Contact to your internet service provider, since it may be the problem with the internet connection with your PC.
Also try to find out the reply with Ping command, simply put in run box:
ping -t
This command runs in CMD, if Request Time out or General failure comeup then internet connection need to check.. otherwise you need to do a System restore... as might be the case of corrupt Window.
Let me know if you need further assistance.

When I close 1 window, it closes all the other windows

Go to and download Adaware Free Edition, and run a scan for spyware. If you dont have a good Anti-virus scanner do a search in google for AVG free. Those two are really good at keeping your machine relatively free of Virii and spyware.

If after a scan of both anti spyware and Anti virus shows clean, reboot your machine and try to open and close some internet explorer windows again. If this is still a problem you may want to find out what version of Internet explorer you are running, if it is version 7 you could try to repair the installation and see if that helps.

Alternatively you could remove Internet Explorer 7 altogether and continue using version 6 if it has no problems running.
Hope this helps.

Sounds like a memory 'leak'. Just because it's the 'correct' memory, doesn't mean it's not faulty. I would have them exchanged.

You can run a Microsoft memory diagnostic program to determine is they are faulty.

The software is free from Microsoft from here:

Also, always try to stick with a 'known' brand (kingston, samsung, etc).
