You have to enter its service mode option to turn ON of OFF and Adjust the Hotel mode options. If you wish to get more details about how to enter hotel mode, and make necessary adjustments, check this link. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/Pull up previous posts there, either by its left side bar,
or view it in Timslide option. Never forget to EXIT service mode, after you've done all necessary adjustments.
You have to get into its Service Menu option to unlock Hotel Mode. Contact any service technician. They only can do it, as entering into service mode, and adjust data values there; without any knowledge about it; might make the TV irreparable.
when the hotel mode is on you will always get the display. see the on screen display is comming. if it does not appear it means there is a fault in the tv. if appears you can go to menu & find "hotel Mode" in picture submenu & put it off.
There's no way to reset factory default but can access service menu, Hold down menu button on front panel and press volume up and power at the same time, on the top right screen, use volume up, Press to scroll to 72, press volume up and your are in the service menu.
sorry, it wont go away, bet ya got it cheap huh(nothing intended by cheap) but the tv hotel mode is telling you that its a special tuner made for just hotels, the only way to get around this is if you can replace the hotel type tuner on the main-board with a normal type tuner, it'll cost more than you paid though.good luck,a friend of mine bought 12 of then at $25 each, boy he thought what a deal, now he's really crying and they didn't tell him,and they won't refund his money
Sounds like its been put into Hotel Mode. This is a mode normally found on Tv sets that are installed into Hotels Hense the Name this Greys out a lot of the tuning option on the Tv.
Give this ago and see if this will sort you out. Before I go any further be very Carefull in this menu as this is the hidden LG installer menu and I do not want you to brick you telly.
Hold down the menu button on the remote for Approx 5 seconds then type in 1105 This should bring up the hidden installer menu so that you can check that the Hotel mode is not set to on. Make sure this is set to off as This may be the cause of your problem.
Hope this helps you sort out your Telly. If so then please leave a thumbs up.
you cant. these tvs are manufactured like this to keep the volume at an acceptable level so that this tv volume does not disturb the next room. Unless this tv has an audio output (red, white) to output the tv audio to an external audio source such as a surround sound system then the volume is what is. Altough a good buy a tv is from a hotel it comes with limitations. Take it to pawn shop to sell then buy another tv not from a hotel.
M (menu) 7935 (regular menu appears), them press
4725 (menu service appears), then search HTLSRC (position 090), then
set value 032 (this value disables Hotel Mode) - TV. Now Hotel Mode is
deactivated. It is verified!
M 7935 4725, go to HTLSRC (090), fix 032 - press TV. Good luck!
YOU WILL NEED THE SPECIAL REMOTE TO DO THIS. AND I THINK SOME OF THEM HAVE ABILITY IN SERVICE MENU TO TURN OFF HOTEL MODE. OR YOU CAN TRY USING ANY PHILLIPS/MAGNAVOX REMOTE WITH THE STATUS BUTTON AND TRY THIS. PRESS MENU-9-6-5-2-STATUS AND YOU SHOULD BE IN THE SERVICE MODE TURN OFF THE HOTEL MODE
