Question about Enlight Intel Xeon 470 WATT EN-470 MP (EN470MP) Power Supply
I have jsut purchases this printer and am having problems installing the ink cartridges! Is there a techinque to doing this as the instruction manual and pictures are less than useless!
I figured it out!
For all those who have problems clicking it into place it's probably the printer's not on. Turn it on an the top half of the cartridge holder which is connected to the printing head should slide to the left part of the printer when it's on, then slide the cartridges in an click in.

Plug it in. Turn machine on....wait a few seconds until the printer cartridge tray moves itself all the way to the left and stops.
You have to put them in with the front bottom side of the ink cartridge resting on the tray and cartridge back as far as it will go. Gently push the cocked ink cartridge up until it clicks in place.
Best I can explain.

I spent the past hour trying to insert the ink cartridges. My problem turned out to be that the holders were, for some reason, on the right rather than the left side of the mechanism. I gently pullled them to the left and was then able to insert the cartridges. Super frustrating. I spent 60 minutes thinking that I wasn't as smart as a 5 year old but it was the freaking machine's inability to posiiton the cartridges holders correctly that was to blame.

The installation is easy .. so easy than a 5 year old kid could do it.
all you have to do is read..it's on the manual!!

The great big red-n-white "quick start" guide - to me - made the cartridge installation MUCH easier. Mine slid in at a slight angle just as Canon noted they should ... then snapped UP into place with a secure "CLICK!". Absolutely ZERO problems on the first try - and this prints like a PIXMA alright: First print was dead-on perfect.

I also just set up this printer. Inserting the cartridge is tricky but not diificult. Just plave the cartridges in the each slot until they can no longer move forward. Then you simply the cartridge up until you the hear the click, you have to use a little force to ensure it clicks.
