I get these notices when i boot up now c mos date/time error c mos boot error.ini c mos boot date/time error. When i do go to boot up, it don't boot up properly anymore, it goes straight to bios every time I try to boot up now. I,ve been wonderin if it is my internal battery and if so how do i get to it and what kind is it. These issues are on my TransPort T3000 mpc model#25BIA0. I'm not sure what information is applicable to this situation feel free to ask me questions to help clarify the problem. Thank you for your time and help, Morialexyz..
Yes, it is the bios battery. It needs to be replaced. If you are very lucky, you can find it under an access panel on the bottom of the laptop. Otherwise, you will have to tear the laptop down to find the battery. It will look like a large watch battery, probably covered in plastic, with two wires coming from it that go to the mainboard.
the CMOS battery is dead. check your manual for the type and location. remove it and take it with you to a good watch shop or electronics store and they should be able to help you out.
before you take it out take note of which way up it is ! (important)

The BIOS date and time error is usually caused by a flat BIOS battery.
Don't know about your model laptop but the battery could be located on the bottom of the laptop under one of the small panels or it could be located under the keyboard. The battery most likely is a button 3volt lithium battery.
