Question about Canon PIXMA MP160 All-In-One InkJet Printer
How do I reset the ink level on both my PIXMA MP160 & MP170 printers after the ink cartridges have been refilled?
Here is the whole manual on printing problems. Should be able to find a solution to your problems if you save a copy of this pdf to your computer and read through it.

First, download the software at http://www.box.net/shared/4yblbn34kg
Secondly, to run the software your printer has to be in service mode. Do that by
- unplug cable
- press and hold "power" button
- plug cable
- press "resume" and release
- release the "power" button
At this stage, your computer will detect a new hardware
Run the software.

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
