double check your cables and replace if needed with a good cable connected from your modem to the wan port you should get an active light on your router. If you don't get activity with a good cable the router may be pooched or the power supply for the router is dying.

- Yes I would agree with them. if you are going to get a new router consider spending a little more and getting one with wireless "N" more equipment is emerging for this higher speed and if you already have it you can take advantage of it. Also most of the "N" routers seem to give better coverage with regular wireless (dont know why but its what i have found so far)
