it would be really helpful because i have lost the cd

If your computer is running kind of sluggish, you can fix it with an easy clean up of your registry. Here's a link to a free scan that works well:

I've used this one and it sped up my computer by quite a bit. Hopefully this helps.

A good registry scanner can clean up a lot of problems with your computer. Here's a link to a good free one:

Try right clicking to the My Computer icon on your desktop. scroll down to properties, and then select the hardware tab. The choose device manager and scroll down until you see the webcam and then choose to update the driver. If there is a more current one out there then the updating will generally find it for u.
