Okay so I just bought Call Of Duty 4 and when i get to the loading screen for a new mission the screen reads Unreadable disk please clean disk with soft cloth and restart system so i've did itl but the cd has no scratches and the xbox 360 is less than a year old and i cannot continue on with the game cause the xbox isn't reading the disk why will it play all the other missions but freaks about this one loading station
Exact same thing happened to me. one load screen for one level on campaign always gives me that message. i took it to the store that i got it from and they laser cleaned it for me because i thought it might have been scratch related, but it didn't help a bit. exact same spot every time. the cod 4 campaign is the best campaign i've ever played, i couldn't live without finishing it, so i traded it in to a game store and used the credit to buy it again. it came to about $30. which sucks, but it was the only thing that fixed it.
Well, This happens alot, You could call the store you purchased it from to get a refund or a new disk, I think they should do this if you bought it from like sams club or walmart or somthing like that, It most likely is a Disk maulfuntcion

I have the same problem.....I can get in one round of gameplay and then in between rounds it says disk is unreadable. No scratches or anything and the 360 and the game are only about a month old. Not sure what else to do...I unhooked the hardrive and all that...but nothing changed.
