Maytag mdg5500aww gas dryer, i need to change the sensor, how do i get to it
First of all shut off the power by pulling out the plug.
If you are sure of the sensor issue then you need to remove four screws on the inside of the door. Two screws are located on the left and two on the right, look at the hinge and you will find two. The door will lift out when you remove the screws. When the screws are out of the front, the front panel can be remove by pulling on the outside surface.
Hi,
If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heating the most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. Even though it glows sometimes it is still not working properly.
if you dryer is gas check out this gas no heat tip....
If you have an electric dryer, you can have many different things that can go wrong causing the dryer not to heat.
check out this electric no heat tip...
