Denon AVR-3300 won't come out of Standby mode (by 7 users)

posted by joewhite on Nov 29, 2007

For the second time in as many months, our Denon AVR-3300 has refused to come out of standby mode. Last time, unplugging it and replugging it in did the trick, but this time it hasn't. Pressing the Power/Standby switch does nothing, nor does using the remote.  The On/Standby light stays on, but nothing else happens.  Any suggestions?

I am having the same problem. Is there a fix for this? I have never had this problem before so what gives. I have had my denon avr-3300 since 2001.

Same problem as GStu. Unit is one month old. What gives? May be going into protect mode for some reason.

I am experiencing the same issue. I will try to turn it on and it will start to power up, but then clicks off and goes back to stand-by mode.
