I have tried to "reset" the setting to factory multiple times, I have shut off the printer, nothing seems to help. I now can't print anything. Any other ideas before I put this printer in the trash?

Try upgrading your Firmware go to to this web www.kodak.com/go/5300downloads and look for firmware and download it, make sure that the printer is connected and turn on while downloading the firmware. thanks

Done all I know. It keeps saying "Can not Detect Paper Edge".
Downloaded new firmware. Changed Paper. Fluffed the edges.
And answers?
