hi Kevin, The ds lite uses WEP encryption, you will most probably be using wpa/wpa2 which has alot better security but is not compatible with the ds lite. I think the dsi uses wpa and therefore works. I wouldn't recommend changing your current wifi to wep just to get on the internet with the ds lite. Hope this helps Paul
on your DS and navigate to the WiFi connection settings menu. On a DSi,
click the wrench icon, navigate to the third page of options and select
"Internet." On an original DS or DS Lite, select "Edit WiFi Settings"
from the in-game menu. The game must be WiFi compatible to access the
WiFi settings menu.
Select "Connection Settings."
Choose an open connection slot, which will be indicated by the word "None" next to the connection number
Select "Search for an Access Point."
your wireless network from the list displayed. Enter the wireless
encryption code for your network with the onscreen keyboard.
Select "OK" when prompted to save your settings and establish a connection with the network.
First, there would be a wifi configuration on the begineing of the game menu. Press the big orange button and press the first connection. Then search for the wifi connection. Lastly get the connection connected and go back to the screen and go the wifi place on the pokemon black. it should work now!! hope it helped!!! if you have more questions? leave me a comment!
The PS3 browser doesn't work so well with that kind of stuff. You generally do all the authentication during the setup with your wirless router.
Try changing your password, using a different brand of routers, or simply change your security type like TSPK-WEP, or plain TSPK
i had same problem ( bought a faulty nds off ebay and would charge but nothing when powering up, not even a blink of green light) problem is a component called a L2 its an inductor 33uH in case SMD 1007. its situated dirrectly under the power switch but they are prone to fall off when nds is dropped ect. you need to resolder it on (very tricky). give your nds a shake to see if you can hear it rattelling about. be carefull when opening your nds not to lose the part (its very small, about 4mm long 2mm wide) GOOD LUCK
first off you need to either have a wifi connection in you house or by the wifi usb connector and cd rom from nintendo ( about 20 or less if you find it used) I would recommend buying the connector because it is easier to use.
