Punctured freezer

If you open the windows the gas will not hurt you. Freon mixed with the air you breath is not deadly, but freon is deadly alone. The fact is if you had not the sufficient air surrounding you during the puncture you would not had posted this conversation.But the problem is going to be the repair. I looked up the model above your post and I am trying to understand why you would need to manually defrost the model EL7ATRRMQ00 Was there a problem with auto defrost or your model came only as the manual defrost type?
I will answer your question now. You will be fine! Just be careful. Don't listen to the stories people tell you. I am 53 years old and have worked around these different gases for most of my life.
