has a fried (melted) external three terminal relay in capacitor circuit. Never seen this before. Can't tell what the relay was, so need wiring diagram.

- Thanks Charlie, I figured out how the relay was wired internally. The motor had no centrifical starter switch so used an external relay instead. Thanks for the reply. Pat

Is this capacitor under a tube-like cover on the outside of the motor? Charlie
