I am having the hardest time trying to connect my VCR to my new LCD HDTV. I've already connected the DVD player so that part is fine. I can connect VCR to antenna port in the back of tv but the picture sucks. I tried to use composite cable to connect VCR to TV but that's not helping. I don't have cable, satellite, home entertainment system...Just regular tv, dvd, and vcr.
Thanks in advance
If there is an extra AV connection just use that. Now note that VCRs have inferior picture quality compared to DVD. No matter what you do you will never get the crisp picture you get from a DVD. In fact I don't even use vcr anymore because they are outdated. Since you have an HDV it would be a great idea to enjoy blu ray on in it as well. Blu ray palyer are getting cheaper now.

Thank you for your response. I am in the process of trying to decide whether or not I will purchase a blu-ray. Thanks again.
