Phone will still boot without a SIM card usually just comes up and says that you need a SIM card to operate the phone but it will still boot/charge without it. Could be bad battery most HTC phones will not boot without a operational battery. Pull the battery and plug it into a charger if the Charging light goes on for like 3-5 sec. then off most likely battery is faulty if no light at all, could be a bunch of different reasons.
My phone is sony ericsson xperia x10 mini pro, i have kept it for charging after few minutes red color light is blinking and it is not turning on, i have tried removing battery, sim and memory card, but still th problem is same. please help me
Do not turn on the phone again before taking out all trapped moisture. Take out the battery, sim card, etc. You will need to wrap each piece in newspaper, the phone and battery and then put in a rice container and wait at least 24 hrs. The newspaper and rice will eventually absorb the moisture.I hope this helps!
Yesterday I also got the same problem on Samsung DUOS SGH-D780! I found temporary solution how to drop this error message and run the phone normally, but after next reboot it often become again. I will ask Samsung tech. support about this, but now here is the emergency solution:
1. Turn OFF the phone (by removing the battery) 2. Move out all the SIM cards from the phone 3. Insert the battery again (BUT DON'T TURN ON THE PHONE, just insert the battery) 4. Insert a charging cable into the phone and insert the adapter in wall outlet
(then I see the loading screen for the short time and after that CHARGING icon appears)
5. After that turn ON the phone. It will start in no-sim mode. 6. Turn OFF the phone 7. Remove battery, insert SIM-cards, insert the battery. 8. Turn ON the phone
After that it gonna be work good until next reloading...
In attempting to remove the SIM card without removal of the battery you could have potentially broken an electrical link in the main circuitary or caused a fault within the battery compartment.
i would suggest checking out the Motorolla website to see if there are any FAQ's or solutions for you there. if the problem persists, i would contact your Mobile carrier for assisstance.
