Our panasonic 36 "Panasonic HDTV 10801 BBE TAU was turned off. ONe minute later we try to turn it on again and it does not turn on. It does not make any sound. No picture, not sound not even a sound that it is turning on. Can someone tell me what to do. My husbnad wants to open the tv and see why is not working but I Do not trust him doing these type of "fixings" since he usually break things and damages them. SInce this is a TV that has never had a problem we were surprised. Please help~!
We own a Panosonic HD TV model 10801. It is hooked in to a cable box, and also to an hd sound system. To operate, we turn each component on individually through the cable box remote. Likewise, to turn off we do each individually.
Here of late, when you go to power one component, the button actually turns on something different. For example, if I power up the HD sound, and then try to turn on the TV, the buttons actually end up turnif off the sound system. Likewise, if I try to turn on the TV on the remote, it may actually turn off one of the other components.
When I reboot the cable box, things work fine for a few days. Then, we are right back to the problem. Is there possibly a software conflict through the cable box, so that when they send updates, it creates this problem? Any ideas?

My Panasonic CT-32HXC14 turns on then turns off then the red LED flashes once every five seconds. We just had a five second power outage during a storm. I think it's probably a power supply problem.... can it be reset? I've removed power and when I reapply power the LED stays off until I turn the TV on then the LED comes on steady and the TV tries to turn on, clicks off and the LED goes to flashing again.
