My maytag dehumidifier M7DH45B2A seems to be working beautifully, except for the humidistat that gets ''stuck'' at 60%. My basement started out at 75% humidity, which it quickly lowered and it rear 60% the morning after. However, it does not go any lower. The unit keeps running, collecting decent amount of water, so I am assuming that the humidity is actualy lower than 60% by now. Could anyone help, do I simply have to replace the sensor thingy??

I am looking to purchase an everstar airconditioner/dehumidifier. I was looking to see the value if purchased brand new and if this is a good product. The asking price is $275.00 with 50 ft of hose to drain outside. Thank You for your help, Kristina
