But it will not turn off the light, or turn on the fan on any speed. The fan does click when the remote is touched on any button but does not do anything?
Check the hard wiring from the factory. Where the light kit attaches to the fan check the wires in the factory cubes to make sure none are coming off. I had a similar problem that kicked my **** for a few minutes but I saw a loose wire after a bit of research. My fan also clicked but never turned on. Also pull the chains on the fan/light to make sure they are on. Hope something works for you.
