Question about Kensington PilotMouse Laser Wireless DH72242

Kensington Mouse My Kensington Mouse was being sporadic, so I changed the batteries. Now it wont work? There is no light. I've changed the batteries 3 times, so I know it's not them? Please help!

Normal 0 Turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it. This should connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly. If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the button on the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch.

reboot your system and see if it reconnects, if not remove your receiver reboot your system plug your reciever in on your desk top
it should say adding new hardware, or found on the buttom of you mouse it should be a pairing button press and hold down led should
flash and reconnect if not call the manufactor/

The USB dongle may have failed. This NOT a blue tooth mouse so if the dongle has failed, time for a new mouse.

I put new batteries in and everthing lights up. The mouse worked at one time but I haven't used it in a few years. I've pushed both buttons (1) on the mouse and (2) on the USB adapter, the adapter blinks...


disconnect the usb adapter from the system connect it again mean while remove the mouse batteries re insert or better change batteries then perform the step that you ahve already tried

My Kensington wireless keyboard (Ci70) just stopped working. I have no idea why. The mouse works just fine. XP Pro SP 3. Have rebooted. Unplugged the USB interface device. Plugged back in. Rebooted....


Replace batteries in keyboard and re-sync the devices

Okay. Haha i just had same problem at work. Try moving the receiver right in front of keyboard and mouse. I found that the range for the mouse is a little greater than the keyboard. Remember the range on this thing REaLLY sucks, mine wont even go 2 ft. Give it a try and let me know.

Laser mouse no power


Make sure that the switch on the mouse is ON. Try another battery. If you get the same problem, you need to contact the manufacturer or the reseller for RMA.

Mouse stopped working


Check underneath for dirt or debris blocking the laser light lens, try on a different surface ie (mousepad). If that doesn't solve your problem, it's time for a new one.

Button works intermittently on Kensington Wireless Mouse P/N 6439


battarys maybe running low on juice or the ball may have oil on ball, look for reset switch on buttom of mouse press on it,

if info ray type clean the light area, reset the mouse and the usb plug in usb mouse adapter, it may be colored ot not, should be the same color as the mouse one is reset both at the same time.

My mouse dose not move


There is a connect button under the mouse.
and there is a button on the reciever. Please press both the buttons together for 2 minutes and after this it is supposed to work. However if it is not working replace the battries and do this sync process again.

If still not working contact kensington support they will replace for you.
