, your vent duct is probably obstructed (it happens over time). If your model is the type where you could feel air if you removed the lint trap, do so and turn the dryer on. If you get warm air there... you know it is in the ducting, in the back of the machine, or at the wall vent. Pull off your duct, and give it a good cleaning. Clean out the back of the machine, and the wall vent. When you reinstall the ducting, minimize any twists and turns possible.
If the coils are good, but you get no heat, the problem may be the thermostat or the motor switch.

If your dryer is not drying like it once did or if you just have not taken the time to give yourself a clean dryer in a long time then you need to do that. At least once a year the dryer cleaning should take place. Lint build up in the dryer duct is one of the main causes for your dryer to fail.
