Question about Brother MFC 210C All-In-One InkJet Printer
I replaced the black ink cartridge and the printer sends a cleaning message. When I push the copy and black start button, the paper goes in, the head goes back and forth, but the paper comes out blank.
I also keep getting a message that my printer is not connected to the PC. It was working fine until I replaced the ink.
1:check the usb cable or replace it
2: remove the black print cartridge clean the contacts then reinstall it

Make sure that the carts are well placed and secured.
press menue then start mono (blue copy button) then fourtimes arrow-up (tel index). machine will be in maintenance mode and all lamps will flash. press 7 then 6 then 4 then start mono (blue). machine will initialize the carts: refill tubes and printhead with fresh ink and do some cleaning cycles. after showing maintenance in the the display leave it by pressing 9 then 9. do run a quality test print by pressing ink etc.
If you cant see anything the printhead has crashed and cant be fixed anymore.
BTW: Check the usb cable connection and restart the pc.

Tips for a great answer:
If you find that the printout is unexpectedly faint or some dots are missing, you may be able to solve these problems by cleaning the print head, which ensures that the nozzles are delivering ink properly.
You can clean the print head from your computer using the Head Cleaning utility in the printer software or from this product itself by using the control panel buttons.
Refer to the appropriate section below to use the Head Cleaning utility.
Follow the steps below to clean the print head using the Head Cleaning utility.

Make sure that this product is on and the ! Error light is off.
Access the printer software.Accessing the Printer Software for Windows
Click the Maintenance tab, then click the Head Cleaning button.
Follow the on-screen instructions.
Head cleaning... appears on the LCD panel while this product performs the cleaning cycle.
