Would you caution someone buying a TurboChef C3 on eBay?
They are less than half the price of a new one. Most manufactured around 2004.
What issues should I be concerned about?

- So sorry, anyway, I would be a bit careful here. They may have stolen it or something weird because they don't just give those away if it's legitimate. How can they prove what they've got to you? Hav eyou had correspondence with them? I would get more info and check it out. Let your 'gut' tell you what to do here. When the write back to you a few times answering questions you will know!
I am a Subway owner and i have bought a few of these ovens used for great prices, but you have to be very careful of use and abuse on the machines. If you are going to be repairing the oven yourself it can be worth it, but if not and it goes down you not only have lost business but you can be landed with repair bills in excess of $2000. Newer owners with no maintenance experience i always say go new and purchase the extended warranty you'll save big in the long run
