After the storm last night, my tv on off light

after the storm last night, my tv on off light blinks but nothing else is happening, can you help i am a widow on a fixed pension and live alone with my dog - i love this tv but cannot afford expensive repairs

Try unplugging it, waiting a few minutes then plugging it back it. Then turn it on. You may have to reset any particular settings you had. If it doesnt start up then you may have received a spike during the storm and fried the board or worse. You can pick up a used TV cheap now days at garage sales for 10 or 20 bucks!
