White line I get a white line accross any picture (4x6) that I print. No lines on larger sizes. I have cleaned nozzels and aligned, but it still happens. This has happened after I had a paper jam and cleared it. What else can I do?

All of a sudden my hp 932c printer started printing funny in color. I was printing pictures and the prints came out like a heat resolution type picture. I then got new ink cartridges, it did not fix the...

quite often inkjet heads will dry up and clog. try a clean heads sequence in the printer properties panel. do this until it prints the clean nozzle page properly. If the ink cartridges have the print head attached to them (some dont) you can dab them on a paper towel with windex or vinegar until they show a nice clean line when dabbed. if you cant get the print heads out , then you just need to continue running the clean nozzel application until it prints the test nozzel job properly. This is the reason I will not buy any more inkjet printers. only Toner based machines. cheers.

Horzontal white lines cut through print and picture copies. When doing head allignment the horozontal bars all have a white gap, 1 through 7. Epson Stylus CX5400

You don't need to do head alignment, because it is for vertical banding in printout. Vertical banding can be minimized by disabling high speed option without doing head alignment. If your printout have horizontal white lines, do check nozzle and head cleaning, or you can minimize white lines by printing in best quality (photo).

I have red lines that go accross the the page. It is inconsistent. Sometimes just the top Qt other time the whole page. Tried nozzel cleaning and new ink.

It is caused by waste ink at bottom plate of head. Print blank pages for cleaning itself. You can clean it by put wet tissue at bottom side of head. Turn off printer, move head to center. Put wet tissue at pad. Move head to parking position. Wait for 15 minutes. Print blank pages for checking.

Good day.

Refering to to mr walts inquiry and if it is, maybe you are having some issues in your vertical circuitry. It may be loose that it needs to be resoldered and other filter capacitors within the vertical section.

Photos they come with a yellow line through it

This kind of thing happens to me a lot when my cartridge is running out of ink, and if it has been doing it since you first used the cartridge it may just be a dodgy cartridge.

However, this printer doesn't print the clearest of pictures even at the best of times. If when you do the alignment check you find that in the selection with the least obvious lines, the lines are still pretty obvious, then your printer's just not very good.
