DVD tray not coming out fully and dvd disc tray not rotating and screeching sound is coming

it sounds like the "Tray" loading belt has stretched, You could try cleaning it, this would prove a point but will need replacing. the belt is small (about 20mm diameter) and is located under the disc tray near to the front, removing/replacing it will require the hifi to be dismantled.

Ijust borrowed a b&d model 7334 from a lady and the blade runs backward. There are two arrows on the blade to show the backward direction. How do i get the blade to run forward?

if the spindle is turning in the right direction I would think that the blade is on backwards. the teeth should point towards the front of the tool. UNPLUG tool before maknig any adjustments. If the spindle is rotating backwards then it is an electrical issue.

How hard is it to replace that carrier bearing on the drive shaft. i have a f250 2000 superduty.

Pretty easy! Here are the steps:

Removal & Installation
  1. Remove 2 center bearing retaining bolts and remove the center bearing and driveshaft assembly.
  2. Check the center bearing for wear or rough action by rotating the inner race while holding the outer race. If wear or roughness is evident, replace the center bearing assembly. Examine the rubber cushion for evidence of hardening, cracking, or deterioration. Replace as required.

To install:

  1. Place the bearing in the rubber support and the rubber support in the universal shaped support, if removed.
  2. Install the center bearing and drive shaft assembly. While supporting the center bearing in position, install 2 retaining bolts and tighten to 39-53 ft. lbs. (53-72 Nm).
  3. Road test the vehicle and check for proper operation.

I discovered tiny ball bearings in my hot tub. Where could they come from? The hot tub is working fine.

The ball bearings from your spa are from a roto head jet. Typically they are from one of the larger sized jets and they make the swivel action in the roto swirl jets function smoothly. You can determine which jet is coming apart by the loose function of the center nozzle. The jet can be removed and replaced to solve this problem. Most jets screw out but when they have deteriorated a lot, you may need plyers to take the jet out in pieces.

Fridge warm not working, freezer working maytag model 1956GEQ

the Freezer Fan needs replacing. This fan supplies air to the freezer and the refrigerator. If it is rotating to slow it will not move enough air to cool refrigerator but will still keep the freezer cold. That is why the diagnostic is so hard to detect, because on average when the DC motor on the fan deteriorates the rpms decrease. Replacing the fan is labor intensive. The fan cost is about $80.00 for the part.
