My problem is the same as several others, no picture, and the power-LED blinks yellow and blue.
It sounds like this is a problem with the firmware, and I would be interested in finding someone who could provide me with a flashed eeprom.
Hello,
It sounds like you have a monitor with a common problem, we have repaired many Hanns-G monitors with this problem. After a few years some LCD monitors
will blow a power supply. The problem is caused by parts called
capacitors overheating in the confined space of the monitor. If you are
good at electronics repair/soldering you can usually fix the problem. Check out a few pictures on my web site www.ccl-la.com/badcaps.htm You can take the back cover off your monitor and look for the bad parts, replace any that look like the pictures and your monitor should work
fine. The capacitors do need to be installed with the correct + and -
connections, note the stripe on the old one and insert the new one the
same way. If you can't do the repair we offer a repair service, contact us for more details.
I hope this helps, if so please rate my solution.

I actually had this issue with mine, and just replaced the serial eprom on the video logic board. $.28 part 24lc16b from digikey. Cost 20x that amount in shipping, soldered it in place of the original, and now a working monitor. I actually ordered like 10 of those chips because I have an office filled with these units, and its the 3rd time we had this issue. No transferring of data needed, just soldered blank chip in and it works.
Could you provide a link to the correct item on digikey's site? It looks like they have 60+ items matching the part number "24lc16b". Or a little more info on whet exactly to buy would help as well. Thanks! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
