I have XP, the Oregon Scientific DS6618 works great. When the box appears about the compatability test, just click "continue anyways". That message doesnt mean it wont work. Just that Microsoft hasnt gotten around to testing it themselves.

Go to this site to download your i-rocks IR-3230 Web Camera driver http://www.i-rocks.com/Download.aspx I hope this driver has passed the Windows Logo testing.
It just means that Intex didn't go thru microsoft to make sure that the software is written so its completely compatible with the operating system. That message honestly most of the time doesn't mean anything, just means it doesn't pass certain checks thru the Operating system but not all hardware needs to pass all the checks to work. Most hardware will work anyway.
When that message comes up, click on continue and let the software install. The computer will still recognize the hardware and everything will still work anyway. As long as the system can install it properly in the end then all is well.
If it's not passing the windows logo test, it just means the drivers are not verified by Microsoft. You can go ahead and install the drivers as long as its a legitimate driver from the manufacturer you will have nothing to worry about. :)

IF YOU HAVE INSTALLED THIS SOFTWARE ON A COMPUTER RUNNING XP AND IT WORKED WELL AND YOU FEEL CONFIDENT WITH THE SOFTWARE, I WOULD NOT WORRY ABOUT THIS SCARE TACTIC YOU ARE GETTING ON THIS NEW COMPUTER. IS THIS NEW COMPUTER RUNNING XP,SP2 AND THE OTHER ONE RUNNING JUST XP OR XP,SP1? THIS MIGHT BE WHY YOU ARE GETTING THIS SCARE SCREEN. IF THIS SOFTWARE HAS BEEN WORKING ON A MACHINE WITH XP, IT WILL CONTINUE TO WORK ON XP.THE LOGO TESTING AND VALIDATION PROGRAM WERE MADE TO STOP PIRATE SOFTWARE. IT DOESN'T SOUND LIKE THIS IS THE CASE HERE. SOME OF THIS LOGO TESTING HAD A LOT TO DO WITH GETTING UPDATED SOFTWARE TO WORK WITH NEWER VERSIONS OF XP AND VISTA. LIKE I SAID IF YOU ARE COMFORTABLE WITH YOUR PROGRAM I WOULD NOT FEAR THE WARNING AND INSTALL YOUR PROGRAM AND WHEN YOU DO, JUST CHECK FOR ANY UPDATES TO YOUR SOFTWARE.
