If the CPU fan is making funny noises then its because the bearings are worn out and the cpu fan needs to be replaced. It has to be the fan cause you already go rid of the dust and dirt from it.

Cpu fan noisy in scaleo p

You can order and replace the noisy fan.
It is not difficult to do and requires minimum tools.
Just be sure any dust or debris is removed from heat sink fins, power supply and air vents in the case. Check clearance and dimensions before purchasing the new fan. Just like Goldie locks you want it Just right. Not to big and not too small.
If you blowing the Power supply out with compressed air. (always a dust magnet) Be sure to hold the power supply fan with a wooden dowel or anything to prevent blades from spinning. Be sure to do all this with the power off and unplugged. Compressed air can over rev the power supply fan and damage the bearings. (you'll have another noisy fan within a short time if you don't.)
Good luck hope this helps!

Noisy cooling fan

Hello! You may have a cheap and loud fan. If it was not noisy earlier, you may have to clean it. It is not difficult at all. First, buy the cheapest clean compressed air spray on the market (approx $5.00-8.00). You just unscrew the computer chassis, and look for all fans. IMPORTANT: before you open the chassis, UNPLUG the PC. Now, if you don't want to "un-cable" the whole PC, just open the windows in your room. Spray the air onto the fan and below the fan where the heatsink is. A LOT of dust will fly blow off, you'll see.
Where are fans in your PC?
1.) On the CPU heatsink.
2.) one or two in the Power Supply Unit (where all the cables are coming out, kind of a metal box - just spray into it too.
3. Graphic card
4. Chassis fan(s)
Clean them all with the airflow from the compressed clean air can.
In addition I'd recommend you clean the other parts and boards, so you have a nice clean PC.
You may watch the attached video too, if you want to go deeper into it, but in my case it always helps. Note, that if your PC is really full of dust, you'll need the whole can to clean it. But it's worth it.
Hope I could help. If you have questions just leave a testimonial and I'll come back to you and help you with pleasure!

Hi, every time I turn on the heater of my 1996 gmc jimmy,it's very noisy, there's a rough sound and whistling sound.pls help me to solve this issue.thanks.

Its either something rubbing against your fan motor, or the fan motor is going out. Remove fan from under hood fi\rewall area, check it carefully by removing it and turning it on, inspect the duct area , and you should find your problem. If its the fan motor, replace it. Good luck.

The fans on my Sony PCG-K33 are loud and there is a lot of heat coming from under the laptop and out the vent on the left side of the computer. The problemdid not exist until did a complete uninsall and...

Hi,
Fans are usually noisy due to a build up of dust that's collected on the fan blades.
The best way to clean them is to get a can of compressed air and give short blasts through the air vents, also turn the laptop upside down and give a couple of blasts the CPU fan grill.
Alternatively you can get a clean, stiff paintbrush to clean the fan blades and blow through the air vents to remove any dust.
The laptop won't get as hot or noisy if you clean the air vents and CPU fan blades regularly.

Regards.

Squeaky noise from the motorafter running for

I would unplug the fan and clean off the motor shaft behind the fan and vaccum the motor housing and around the motor ends.

Once you've got as much dust and grime as possible removed, use some 3-in-1 oil and LIGHTLY oil each end of the motor shaft (behind the fan and next to the motor housing) and if possible, at the other end of the motor housing.

Make sure the fan is UNPLUGGED when you do this!!! Give the fan a slow spin by hand and hold upright to allow the oil to seep down the shaft into the bearings.

I usually do this once or twice a year on my portable fans and unless the bearing isn't completely worn out, it usually helps the fan spin more easily and keeps it running very well.

Hope you find this very helpful and best regards!

Hello.. i have notebook NEC VERSA E6200, my cooling FAN is extremely noisy,im not understand. why this computer very very hot and the fan is very terribly noisy? i can't use this computer in the library at...

the noise is most likely because the fan has worn out, and would need to be replaced, also its good idea to clean out the dust while its replaced, after the job is done the computer shouldn't be as loud and it should also stay cooler.
