Question about Creative Labs ZEN Vision:M Digital Media Player
Ok when i turn the damn thing on it goes to the menu with clean up format all reload firmware and reboot, i made it reload firmware to update it but it still isnt working and my computer doesnt want to aknowledge its existence.
im one step away from smashing this thing!
My creative zen is being dumb no matter what i push the recovery mode is still gonna be there what do i do

It sounds like your reset button is stuck down so it thinks you want to reset it. Try to press it again, go through the process, and see if it reboots normally.

Just download the firmware http://support.creative.com/Products/Products.aspx?catid=213&catName=MP3+Players and reinstall it just make sure your zen has enough battery

uninstal WMP11 and install WMP10....
next restart your PC.
your WMP10 will detect your Zen and reload the firmware...

There is no reset button on the Zen Microphoto. You have to take the battery out, hold the on button and reinsert the battery to get into recovery mode. Other than that, there is no reset button or hole.

No it's not recornized when reload firmware is promted. no button is stucked it just doesn't get recognized. tried 2 computers.

Umm im not sure if this will help any but my micro photo only respnds to windows xp... it took forever to figure this out seeing as though i have vista i had to use my mothers computer to do anything with it..i hope this helps yall
