You can open the lid and take a Q-tip lightly dampened with Glass Cleaner and swab the lens. Use the dry end of the Q-tip to dry the lens. If that does not work, you might try getting a can of Air from Radio Shack or someplace, as long as it is Dry Air, and carefull blow out the Laser. I am guessing that you are running a PS2 Blue Disc Game. Blue colored discs tend to run faster than Silver or gold. Accepted method for cutting the hum down is to put a piece of Tape on the label side of the disc. jkeep trying that until the disc gets a good balance. I just put up with the Hum and do not invest a lot of time in trying to get the hum out. Thats the solution though, your Blue Disc is unbalanced.
